Who Are We?We are a Hebraic / Messianic Congregation of believers who adhere to the teachings of the Torah, the Prophets, YeShua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ), and the Emissaries. Our focus is not to be a religious organization; Yeshua is not religious. Our purpose is to bring nations to an understanding of salvation: knowing the Father, knowing what is pleasing to Him, and how to worship Him. The desire of the Creator, Blessed Be He, is that humanity be obedient to what He asked, that we adhere to scriptural principles.

About First Tabernacle Fellowship

Pastor Holman is a native of Sacramento. He graduated from Sacramento High School, attended Sacramento City College, and the University of Nevada Reno where he studied business administration and secondary education. He worked for the State of California for 27 years in many capacities, finally retiring in the year 2000 to the call of full time ministry.Pastor Holman comes from a family of pastors. His grandfather, the late District Elder Thomas Holman, was founder of Christ Temple Apostolic Church here in the city of Sacramento, California. Pastor Holman learned to minister and care for people under the mentorship of his late father, the District Elder Robert B. Holman Sr., successor of Christ Temple Apostolic Church. At twenty years of age, he was called to the ministry of preaching and teaching G-d's word. He served in the ministry his father pastured for more than thirty years. During that time, he became a very good organizer of choirs which lead him to become th e third minister of music in the history of the national organization of which he belonged, an organization that was over fifty years old.Over the years, Pastor Holman has watched the dynamics of economic, social, and cultural change shape the city of Sacramento. These changes, along with the prompting of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) have lead him to pastor a congregation that reflects Hebraic biblical teachings, the scriptures.
